Submit Music
Bands and labels are welcome to send us records. We listen to everything that fits, and we write about what we like.
What we cover
Garage punk, garage rock, surf and instro, psychedelic and garage psych, proto-punk, freakbeat, rockabilly and psychobilly, punk blues, power pop, primitive R&B, and most things that could reasonably be called mutant rock ‘n’ roll.
We do not cover pop, mainstream rock, metal or electronic music. Sending those to us wastes your time more than ours.
How to send it
Email info@radiomutation.com with:
- Artist name and where you are from
- Release title and release date
- Label, or self-released
- A streaming link we can actually open — Bandcamp is ideal, YouTube and SoundCloud are fine. A private stream link is fine too.
- Two tracks you would put first if you only had one shot
- A few sentences about who you are. Not a press release: just tell us what the record is.
Please do not attach audio files to the first email.
What happens next
We listen. If we are going to write about it, you will hear from us. If we are not, you will not — that is the policy, not an oversight. A silent no is honester than a form letter.
Coverage is never guaranteed, never for sale, and never conditional on anything you do for us in return.
What we will not do
We will not repost your files, mirror your audio, or put your record behind a download link on this site. Anything we publish links back to your own official page.
